The Mini-SAS HD product provides greater port density (11mm port-to-port) versus the MiniSAS 2.0 product (19.01mm port-to-port). Taitek’s Mini-SAS HD internal and external cables are fully compliant to the SFFindustry specifications. QSFP+ DAC cables are designed to cost effectively meet emerging data center and high performance computing application needs for a short distance while our QSFP+ AOC cables are much thinner and lighter, making installation easier and supporting longer distances. AOC also enables more efficient system airflow and is not subject to any electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues, which can be critical in high-density racks. Taitek High-Speed Cables are highly cost-effective to upgrade from 10G to 40G or 40G to 100G architectures.
WHY TAITEK
In general, DAC cable assemblies use a highly engineered copper twinaxial cable connected
directly into an SFP+ or QSFP+ housing. The cable lengths are available from 0.5m to 7m.
The target application is the interconnection from top-of-rack switches to application servers
and storage devices within a rack, performing with low latency and lower power consumption than AOC.
